The American Heart Association's BLS course equips participants with the skills to quickly identify life-threatening emergencies. Trainees learn to perform high-quality chest compressions, administer appropriate breaths and ventilations, and effectively utilize an AED at the earliest opportunity. This course is aligned with the latest scientific research and educational standards outlined in the 2025 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
